Why is archery popular
in the U.S??

 

 

 

      What a cool sport archery is! Many people will like it after they watching The Hunger Games movie. Above all, a lot of young girls tend to like playing archery. Since The Hunger Gamesstarted to show, archery has become more popular. There are some specific reasons.

      First, archery is getting popular among young girls in the U.S. because Katniss, the main female character, uses a bow and an arrow in the movie. The scenes in which she uses a bow and an arrow look cool and attractive. Moreover, she has many characteristics which influence young girls. For example, she is strong, independent and beautiful. She fights in difficult situations, but she never gives up. Usually, female heroines wear dresses and make-up on their faces. However, she doesn`t use make-up when she fights. She has natural beauty without make-up. Therefore, many young girls yearn to be like Katniss.

      Next, archery has several reasons that you can start to play it easily. Archery is a less physical sport than other sports. One girl says in article of newspaper, “I`m not very sporty.” However, she began to play it. Also, because archery is an independent sport, you don’t have to think about teammates. It means you can play feel free. In addition, archery is very flexible as you can play it both inside and outside. I think it so convenient for players.

      As a result, archery is getting one of cool sports in the U.S. It’s not difficult to start playing archery. And because of Katniss many young girls has began to play archery. I think it’s a good way to communicate with father and daughter. Usually, daughters play something with mother and son plays something with father. So, archery is good activity for daughter and father.
